Maintenance Specialist (Engineering)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot critical machinery breakdowns and supervise operators in the tool room and fabrication workshop.
• Monitor and control inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies, initiating reordering as necessary.
• Review plant equipment operations constantly to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Interpret and explain engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics for pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Manage a technical team, evaluating employee progress, training new members, and resolving conflicts.
• Maintain QMS ISO and safety, health, and environmental policies to ensure maximum safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be an Emirati National (Emirati Talent).
• 5–8 years of experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role, including leading overhauls.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to read and explain pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of industry-specific experience in Equipment Maintenance related to High Safety Environments (e.g., Power Plants).
