TL;DR

Development Engineer II (Large Caliber Ammunition): Support full lifecycle of large-caliber ammunition systems from concept to qualification and industrialization with an accent on design, engineering analyses, and testing. Focus on performing conceptual/preliminary/detailed design, conducting lethality/penetration/structural analyses, prototype manufacturing, test campaigns, and compliance with military standards.

Location: Office-based in Abu Dhabi, AE with visits to integration and test facilities, including possible travel abroad.

What you will do

• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of ammunition systems.
• Conduct engineering analyses including lethality, penetration, and structural.
• Support production line definition, industrialization, and prototype manufacturing.
• Plan and participate in test campaigns and preparation.
• Ensure compliance with military standards, safety regulations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate suppliers, support proposals, and execute MRP/ERP tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in large-caliber ammunition design.
• Specialist-level knowledge of ammunition design.
• Strong modelling, simulation, and CAD skills.
• Excellent planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
