Staff Engineer (Identity)

What you will do

• Drive vision and strategy for the Identity Platform with Product Management and stakeholders.
• Deliver scalable, secure API platform integrated with Auth0 for authentication/authorization.
• Migrate legacy auth systems to Auth0 with refresh token rotation, fine-grained authorization, and multi-tenant support.
• Lead enterprise IAM strategy as expert on Auth0, OAuth2, OIDC, and FGA.
• Build reusable code templates, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards.
• Guide team on architecture, security, and cloud-native design; foster cross-functional relationships.

Requirements

• 4+ years management/lead experience leading Software Engineering functions
• 5+ years expertise shipping products/services, preferably in Go
• Experience architecting, building, and operationalizing identity/authentication platforms
• Deep expertise in Auth0, Okta, Authentik, Keycloak or similar
• Experience with authorization systems like OPA, FGA; containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD (Github Actions, etc.), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS), observability (DataDog, etc.)
• Services in Go/Python/C++/Java; scalable APIs (REST/JSON/HTTP)

• Experience building developer platforms like Backstage.io, Cortex
