Fullstack Developer (Java/Guidewire)

Fullstack Developer (Java/Guidewire): Design and code scalable solutions for Guidewire ClaimCenter and surrounding middleware in property & casualty insurance claims with an accent on high-performance systems, architecture influence, and technical excellence. Focus on evaluating improvements, creating proof of concepts, enforcing best practices, and collaborating across engineering and product.

Location: Onsite at hirify.global offices in Jacksonville, FL; Birmingham, AL; Alpharetta, GA. This position works at the hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Design robust, high-performance solutions across systems and services
• Serve as key technical contributor on critical projects in insurance claim domain
• Share deep technical knowledge and act as resource for others
• Evaluate and advocate for improvements in architecture, standards, and processes
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to align tech with business needs
• Enforce coding and security best practices within SAFe framework

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years fullstack Java developer experience
• Expert understanding of full SDLC and ability to identify bottlenecks
• Deep knowledge of design patterns, architectural principles for scalable systems
• Expertise in Java, Gosu, Kotlin, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring Boot, AWS services, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL
• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience strongly desired; auto insurance knowledge preferred
