TL;DR

Senior Reverse Engineer/Vulnerability Researcher (Cybersecurity): Perform vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and tool development for complex systems with an accent on expert-level analysis of assembly code and emulation. Focus on dissecting embedded systems, developing fuzzers, and analyzing network protocols for cyberspace operations.

Location: Onsite at 4185 Logistics Avenue, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433. U.S. Citizenship required with active TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph clearance.

What you will do

  • Conduct vulnerability research and reverse engineering on complex systems as part of the CODEX team.
  • Develop tools for analysis, including custom forensic tools and fuzzers.
  • Analyze embedded systems using full system emulation.
  • Collaborate on cyberspace operations, leveraging expertise in network protocols and assembly languages.
  • Contribute to mission-critical projects supporting national security.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph clearance and U.S. Citizenship
  • Expert knowledge of vulnerability research and reverse engineering
  • Experience with IDA, Ghidra, or BinaryNinja
  • Proficiency in assembly languages (x86/64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, etc.)
  • Experience with source management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM + 5 years experience or advanced degree + 3 years

  • 3+ years RE/VR experience
  • C/C++/Python programming
  • Full system emulation for research
  • Embedded system analysis
  • CTF experience
  • Fuzzer development
  • Network protocols knowledge
