TL;DR

Guidewire Developer (ClaimCenter): Design and code scalable solutions for property & casualty insurance claims with an accent on Guidewire ClaimCenter and middleware integrations. Focus on high-performance architecture, system optimizations, and technical excellence in SAFe framework.

Location: Must work in hirify.global office in Jacksonville, FL; Birmingham, AL; or Alpharetta, GA

What you will do

• Design robust, high-performance solutions across Guidewire ClaimCenter and middleware systems
• Serve as key technical contributor on critical projects in property & casualty insurance claims
• Share deep technical knowledge, evaluate architecture improvements, and enforce coding/security best practices
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to align implementations with business needs
• Create proof-of-concepts and work within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience required; minimum 8+ years developer experience with 2+ years senior/lead
• Expert understanding of full SDLC, software design patterns, and architectural principles
• Deep familiarity with Java, Gosu, Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS services, SQL, RESTful APIs, microservices
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, unit/integration testing, Git, monitoring tools like AppDynamics/Splunk
• Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite components, PCF, database model, integrations, and troubleshooting

Nice to have

• Guidewire Cloud InsuranceSuite Professional Developer certification
• Knowledge of auto insurance (commercial & personal lines)
• Expertise in Angular, React, Vue, responsive design, AI Prompt/Agentic Engineering
