What you will do

• Oversee operational aspects of funds, including fund accounting, pricing, and transfer agency functions.
• Manage relationships with fund accounting providers and act as the primary point of contact for internal departments.
• Assist in the production of regulatory continuous disclosure reports and tax filings.
• Ensure annual and semi-annual reports align with Canadian GAAP.
• Perform daily oversight checks to improve controls and operational efficiency.
• Provide operational expertise for the launch of new investment products.

Requirements

• University Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian and global investment industry (specifically NI 81-102 and NI 81-106).
• Proficiency in manipulating large datasets using Excel.
• Deep understanding of fund accounting, dilution, and transfer agency.

Nice to have

• Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent.
• CFA designation or currently pursuing it.
