Design Staff Engineer (Digital IC): Develop next-generation silicon IP utilizing advanced digital technologies for high-performance AI silicon and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, CXL, UAlink) with an accent on circuit architecture, RTL implementation, and design validation. Focus on microarchitecture analysis, RTL coding and debug, test plan definition, and supporting firmware and validation teams.

What you will do

• Participate in circuit architecture, RTL implementation, design review, layout, and silicon design verification.
• Develop next-generation silicon IP with advanced digital technologies.
• Conduct architecture discussions, define test plans, perform RTL coding and debug.
• Support firmware team in developing production firmware code.
• Assist validation team and FAE in troubleshooting silicon issues and providing fixes.
• Review and document designs for internal and external customers.

Requirements

• BSEE plus 2-5 years of design experience in digital IC design.
• Analyze and improve design architecture and block-level IP microarchitecture.
• Implement RTL design with Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge of on-chip bus protocols: AXI, AHB, APB.
• Experience with Lint, CDC checks, timing closure, coverage analysis.
• Basic understanding of UVM testbenches and scripting (Perl/Python, TCL, C/C++).
• Eligible for U.S. export-controlled technology access; may require export license review (non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents subject to process).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PCIe, NVMe, CXL, UAlink implementations.
