What you will do

• Develop and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, PySpark, Kafka Connect, and CDC patterns.
• Build transformation, enrichment processes, and Airflow DAGs for data processing and orchestration.
• Support Kafka topic management, schema evolution, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Monitor pipeline performance, data quality, and latency using Elastic and Kibana; resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and reporting teams on platform architecture and integrations.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in data engineering or distributed data systems
• Hands-on with Spark/PySpark for pipelines and data transformation
• Experience with Kafka or streaming platforms, SQL, and data orchestration like Airflow
• Familiarity with AWS-based data environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for data pipelines
• Curiosity and adaptability in evolving environments
