What you will do

• Analyze user requirements and derive software designs for new or modified satellite communication applications.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable C++ code with emphasis on real-time systems and performance optimization.
• Design algorithms, database interfaces, and communication protocols under timing and resource constraints.
• Debug systems, integrate automated testing, and resolve defects to ensure reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, managers, and customers to align features with project goals.
• Produce documentation and support data management, knowledge sharing, and DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• 20+ years designing, developing, and implementing object-oriented C++ software with best practices
• Experience with RF signal analysis, satellite communications, message queues, and protocols
• Proficiency in real-time systems, debugging, analytical problem-solving, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in customer-facing environments
