Systems Engineer (Atlassian)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Atlassian IT): Design and deploy advanced architectures within Jira, JSM, and Confluence with an accent on smart workflows, automations using smart values and JSON payloads. Focus on integrating Atlassian tools with 3rd party platforms via REST APIs, strategic oversight of tooling, and implementing long-term improvements based on IT Service Management and Agile principles.

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania (2 days in office recommended but not enforced)

Salary: €4,233 - €5,125 gross per month

What you will do

• Design and deploy advanced architectures in Jira, JSM (including Assets), and Confluence, building smart workflows and automations to minimize manual work.
• Lead technical integrations of Atlassian tools with 3rd party platforms like Okta, Slack, Workday using REST APIs and data mapping.
• Provide strategic oversight for Atlassian tools, balancing user requirements with technical sustainability and system health.
• Oversee the big picture with IT Service Management and Agile, identifying bottlenecks and driving long-term improvements.
• Monitor Atlassian product updates and roadmaps to prepare the environment for new Cloud functionalities.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in Atlassian Cloud Administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence, Assets).
• Strong automation skills with low-code tools (Jira Automation, Make, N8N, Zapier) and logical foundation for REST APIs or Custom App Development.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Understanding of Agile and ITIL frameworks in modern operations.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, translate business requirements into technical specs, and navigate governance policies.
