Linux System Administrator

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania

Gross salary: from €1,900/month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Monitor servers, networks, DNS, storage, and other components of a large-scale hosting infrastructure.
• Triage alerts, diagnose hardware, network, and higher-level infrastructure issues, and resolve or escalate incidents.
• Run remote hardware procedures with data center technicians worldwide.
• Tune noisy alerts and document recurring incidents and their resolution.
• Coordinate shift handovers with the Infrastructure Monitoring team in Indonesia.

Requirements

• Practical comfort with the Linux command line, SSH, logs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking and DNS.
• Hands-on home lab experience, such as Raspberry Pi, Proxmox, Pi-hole, or a self-hosted server.
• Calm, methodical incident response and a habit of asking questions instead of guessing.
• English sufficient for daily written and spoken communication with a distributed team.
• Availability for rotating shifts after probation: 9:00–18:00 or 17:00–02:00.
