M&A Research & Data Analyst

hirify.global acquires, manages, and grows software companies across diverse industries, primarily in Europe and Latin America, as part of Constellation Software.

What you will do

• Evaluate potential software acquisition targets against investment criteria and identify viable corporate carve-out opportunities.
• Maintain CRM data integrity, including KPIs and dashboards.
• Conduct market research across new verticals and geographies to support expansion.
• Identify and map software M&A advisors, from global firms to boutique consultancies.
• Research and assess third-party data sources, industry lists, and trade conferences.
• Support due diligence and ad hoc research projects through market, contract, and competitor analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Strong analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Understanding of research methodologies and M&A origination processes.
• Experience in research or financial services is preferred.
