AI Scientist (Intralogistics): Design, build, and deploy intelligent AI solutions for intralogistics planning and operations with an accent on machine learning, optimization, and simulation tools. What you will do

• Translate business problems in intralogistics into quantitative statements for analytics, ML, optimization, and AI.
• Contribute across solution lifecycle: problem framing, PoC prototypes, MVP deployment, and enhancements.
• Work with real-world and synthetic datasets to develop, train, and evaluate models.
• Design forecasting, ML, and optimization models for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and supply chain prediction.
• Build simulation tools for model training, validation, and testing of intralogistics processes.
• Develop model-centric architectures integrating ML models, data pipelines, and inference services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and support delivery of commercial AI solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related + 3 years relevant experience or Master's + 2 years.
• 4+ years with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn or equivalents).
• 4+ years software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, code quality).
• Strong foundation in statistics and ML algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java or similar for AI/ML.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with optimization/operations research.
• Experience with reinforcement learning or LLMs.
• Interest in applied AI for supply chain, logistics, or industrial automation.
