What you will do

• Design and execute statistically sound experiments to build reusable benchmarks and evaluation frameworks.
• Develop production-quality AI and ML solutions that scale to handle massive volumes of complex legal data.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to bring models from prototype to production.
• Ensure AI systems are auditable, reliable, and responsible by design.
• Select and implement appropriate modeling approaches ranging from classical machine learning to frontier large language models.
• Contribute to the development of agentic systems that reason and cite their decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in applied science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with libraries like numpy, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and PySpark.
• Proven ability to move quickly from prototype to production while simplifying complex ideas.
• Familiarity with modern MLOps practices, including containers, deployment patterns, and telemetry.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
