What you will do

• Partner with leadership to create multi-year IAM technical roadmap balancing business needs and architecture.
• Lead design and implementation of high-throughput distributed auth/authz systems across services.
• Architect customer-facing identity lifecycle management, IdP integration (SAML/OIDC), and permission models.
• Champion security-first practices, code quality, design reviews, and threat modeling organization-wide.
• Define SLOs, observability, and automation to improve operations.
• Mentor engineers and influence security initiatives across engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years building/operating large-scale distributed systems with Go, TypeScript, or React.
• 5+ years IAM expertise: OIDC, OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects to scale with business impact.
• Deep Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD knowledge.
• Enterprise security, compliance (SOC2, HIPAA), governance understanding.
• Strong communication and analytical debugging skills.

• Leading monolith to microservices transformation.
