What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for high-speed digital circuit design, signal integrity, and power integrity across multiple programs.
• Lead the design and review of complex PCBAs involving FPGAs, processors, and high-speed serial interfaces.
• Define hardware architecture trades to satisfy performance, reliability, and qualification requirements.
• Set standards and review practices for board design, stack-up, and SI/PI analysis.
• Resolve complex cross-disciplinary issues involving RF coexistence, EMI/EMC, and thermal behavior.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate technical activities across multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Expertise in high-speed digital design, timing, clocking, and return-path management.
• Extensive experience with FPGAs, processors, and high-speed data converters.
• Proven track record of leading board bring-up, system integration, and failure analysis.
• Experience setting technical direction in ambiguous, high-consequence environments.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in EE, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Experience with Avionics platforms and Altium Designer.
• Proficiency with SI/PI tools like HyperLynx, Sigrity, ADS, or Ansys SIwave.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-461/810/1275.
• Experience transitioning prototype hardware to production.
