What you will do

• Lead the approach and execution for the Client Platform Engineering (CPE) team as the Directly Responsible Individual.
• Partner with Security to create and maintain configuration profiles and security baselines for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Linux endpoints.
• Develop long-term systems strategy and capacity planning to meet future end-user needs.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities in partnership with stakeholders and project managers.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure maintainable and extensible code.
• Champion operational excellence by improving system reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response times.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in computer science or a related technical discipline with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 4+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering and 3+ years leading engineering solutions at scale.
• 4+ years of experience with MDM frameworks (Jamf, Microsoft Intune) or IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Salt).
• 3+ years of experience with automation using hirify.global, Python, Bash, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of dedicated technical leadership experience.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, as well as AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
