What you will do

• Engineer, integrate, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity technologies and security architectures for the SBA.
• Implement and sustain Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) initiatives aligned with NIST SP 800-207 and OMB M-22-09.
• Manage cloud security engineering activities across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and SaaS environments.
• Ensure security controls align with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize security tools including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and MFA platforms.
• Perform vulnerability analysis, system hardening, and security configuration assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or federal cybersecurity operations.
• Deep knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Proven experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud security environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanning platforms.
• Ability to support US federal government cybersecurity environments.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC, CCSP, or CISM.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Prior experience supporting US federal agencies.
