TL;DR

What you will do

  • Partner with analytics, data science, clinical strategists, and medical directors to develop study protocols and strategies.
  • Lead methods sections for business proposals, ensuring scientific rigor and commercial appeal.
  • Design and execute end-to-end observational studies using healthcare claims and behavioral data.
  • Translate statistical outputs into clear reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
  • Manage communications with leadership, sales, and project teams to keep initiatives on track.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative field.
  • 3–5+ years applied research experience with large-scale healthcare claims databases.
  • Expertise in study design, matching methodologies, bias mitigation, protocol development, and statistical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with SAS, R, or Python.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical audiences and write persuasive proposals.
