TL;DR

Kubernetes Enablement Platform Engineer (EKS): Help development teams build, deploy and run microservices on Kubernetes platforms with an accent on onboarding, migrations, containerisation and platform best practices. Focus on developing and maintaining add-ons using GitOps and CNCF technologies, simplifying platform design and reducing operational complexity.

Location: Hybrid in The Hague (office every Tuesday)

What you will do

• Enable and support teams in using Kubernetes for microservices, including onboarding, migrations and containerisation
• Act as point of contact for engineers, providing advice and promoting platform engineering best practices
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes platform add-ons with GitOps and CNCF technologies to improve usability, security and time-to-market
• Simplify platform design and usage to reduce operational complexity and infrastructure costs

Requirements

• Experience with cloud-native and CNCF technologies such as ArgoCD, Crossplane or similar (must have)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in corporate/enterprise environments
• Experience with AWS (EKS) and/or Azure (AKS)
• Programming in Go and/or TypeScript
• Experience in agile, DevOps or platform engineering contexts
