Electrical System Engineer (Aerospace)

TL;DR

Electrical System Engineer (Aerospace): Support technical development of hirify.global spacecraft with an accent on avionics architecture, interfaces, and system-level integration. Focus on full mission lifecycle from requirements definition through design, AIT, launch, and in-orbit commissioning, working closely with subsystem and software engineers.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain electrical system architectures for missions, including high-level and detailed electronics design.
• Perform requirements engineering, flow-up/down, and manage spacecraft budgets and parametric models.
• Act as technical point of contact for electrical systems with stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors.
• Define validation, verification, test plans, and support AIT, integration, and flight operations.
• Write RFPs, manage subcontractors for avionics and power units, and review power electronics.
• Contribute to in-house developments for future spacecraft power systems and generate project documentation.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years Electrical Engineering experience in space industry (systems, avionics, data handling, or power electronics).
• Experience with system-level requirements, interfaces, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of program lifecycles and contribution to formal reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple technical topics.

Nice to have

• Detailed understanding of electronics analysis, design, build, and test.
• Hands-on electronics design, test, and fault diagnosis experience.
• Experience with space standards (ECSS, MIL) and EMC constraints.
• Technical team leadership and interaction with institutional customers (ESA, UK Space Agency).
