What you will do

• Prepare facility fit-out, utilities hook-ups, SAT checklists, and verify power/gas/water readiness.
• Set up and manage AM builds, powders, gases, consumables, spares, and testing work orders.
• Run LPBF/EBM/DED builds per SOP, capture logs, troubleshoot issues, and update OEE/uptime dashboards.
• Perform daily/weekly QA and calibration checks to maximize equipment utilization.
• Host service engineers, complete FAT/SAT punch-lists, and liaise with procurement/finance on parts/contracts.
• Coach technicians on SOPs/5S, enforce powder/gas/radiation safety and permit-to-work procedures.

Requirements

• BEng/BSc in Mechanical/Industrial/Materials/Electrical or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in additive manufacturing; hands-on with metal AM (preferably LPBF).
• 10–15 years total work experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and EHS in labs.
• Basic CAD proficiency.

Nice to have

• Exposure to EBM/DED/WAAM, heat-treat/HIP basics.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, TPM/OEE, 5S implementation.
• Metrology tools (Alicona/optical scan), in-situ monitoring.
• Basic scripting (Excel/Python) for logs and dashboards.
• Experience hosting FAT/SAT and closing punch-lists.
