What you will do
- Implement end-to-end conversion tracking using GTM (client and server-side), GA4, and pixel configurations.
- Build and maintain GTM containers, including tags, triggers, variables, and data layer configurations.
- Ensure accurate attribution from click to conversion across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid platforms.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies between ad platform data and analytics to support media buyers.
- Audit existing tracking setups to identify and resolve gaps or misconfigurations.
- Develop tracking implementation playbooks and QA checklists to standardize agency processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with conversion tracking and analytics implementation in an agency or performance marketing context.
- Deep proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM), including independent server-side setup.
- Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Meta Pixel / CAPI.
- Experience supporting paid media teams and understanding attribution models.
- Ability to communicate technical tracking issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in the USA
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, BigQuery, or similar data tools.
- Exposure to server-side tracking solutions such as Stape or Elevar.
- Working knowledge of first-party data strategies and cookie consent frameworks.
