What you will do

• Lead the UX/UI design process from concept to implementation for a major financial institution's publishing site.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with editorial teams, developers, and project managers to define requirements and project vision.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to drive evidence-based design decisions.
• Develop a consistent design language and style guide across all digital touchpoints.
• Work with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible within timeline and budget constraints.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven UX/UI experience with a portfolio focusing on editorial, publishing, or media projects.
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience designing for financial/institutional clients and creating bilingual layouts (English + Japanese).
• English: B2 level required; Japanese language proficiency required.
• Deep understanding of design systems, pattern libraries, and responsive design.
• Ability to align with JST (Japan Standard Time).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with WordPress Full Site Editing (FSE) and block-based design systems.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA+ accessibility compliance.
• Experience with motion design principles and micro-interactions.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience working in agile environments with iterative feedback loops.
