What you will do

• Plan and write technical guides, API/client references, walkthroughs, and sample apps for all experience levels.
• Contribute to information architecture and user experience of the developer portal.
• Create maintenance and iterative improvement cycles for documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and product on new feature documentation.
• Work with customer success and developer advocates to address user needs via docs.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to enhance documentation and UX.

Requirements

• US work eligibility (implied by US remote and benefits).
• Experience planning, researching, writing, and editing technical docs for developers in startups.
• Experience using and documenting SDKs, APIs, and similar tools.
• Proficiency with static site generators, version control, docs-as-code, OpenAPI, and docs platforms like Redocly or Readme.
• Superb writing skills focused on clarity, accuracy, and simplicity.
• Curiosity, thoroughness, organization, enthusiasm, and self-direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, machine learning, or search technologies.
• Experience creating diagrams and video tutorials.
