Project Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid (On-site Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday)

Salary: $104,192 – $164,359

What you will do

• Lead 6–8 concurrent NPI projects from initial development through final launch.
• Coordinate integration between external manufacturing suppliers and internal Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, and Sales teams.
• Drive adherence to global product roadmaps, milestone governance, and launch readiness requirements.
• Validate manufacturing readiness, including process capability, tooling status, and capacity planning.
• Proactively identify and mitigate schedule, cost, and supplier-related risks.
• Track project health metrics and present data-driven reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or sourcing.
• 3+ years of experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Proven experience managing medium-to-large projects and negotiating with external suppliers.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, primarily internationally to Asia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPSM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification.
• Exposure to die casting, injection molding, CNC machining, stamping, forging, or metal finishing.
