Location: Must be based in one of the following US cities: San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Herndon, or Jersey City. This is a customer-facing role with potential travel to customer sites.

Salary: $153,600 – $239,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI projects, covering business requirement analysis, data preparation, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure ML pipelines and MLOps frameworks using hirify.global services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applied Science, DevOps, and Data Engineering, to operationalize AI/ML models.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance on cloud architecture and emerging AI/ML trends.
• Mentor technical teams and create reusable artifacts to share knowledge and best practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution implementation.
• 5+ years of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in ML engineering and distributed computing (data pipelines, training, and inference).
• 5+ years of experience developing predictive modeling, NLP, and deep learning models deployed on cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon SageMaker).
• Must be located in or be able to work from the specified US office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and NLP models (BERT, GPT).
• Knowledge of GenAI technologies, including LLMs, Vector Stores, LangChain, and Prompt Engineering.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps and orchestration tools such as MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards like HIPAA or GDPR.
