What you will do

• Prototype, implement, and own gameplay scenarios, narrative sequences, interactive objects, and AI behaviors.
• Collaborate with the Design team to conceptualize, tune, and balance gameplay mechanics and systems.
• Coordinate with animation, programming, and art departments to produce required assets and code support.
• Iterate rapidly to bring prototypes into production and polish them to a high standard of quality.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Significant programming ability, preferably with a Computer Science undergraduate degree.
• Experience with C++, C#, Lua, or other scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of 3D math and a broad understanding of the gaming landscape.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing third-person action games.
• Proficiency with 3D level editors.
• Understanding of narrative principles and conveying emotion through gameplay.
• Experience in Behavior Trees, Melee, Combat Systems, and Enemy/Boss design.
