What you will do

• Lead discovery efforts to identify and validate business problems, workflow inefficiencies, and operational pain points.
• Develop and defend business cases, ROI analysis, and measurable success metrics for proposed initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder and user interviews to gather insights and challenge underlying assumptions.
• Partner with product teams and business leaders to translate needs into strategic recommendations.
• Interpret business and product metrics to identify reporting gaps and establish KPI frameworks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product discovery, business analysis, and value realization/ROI assessment.
• Ability to operate effectively within pre-product or early product lifecycle phases.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Expertise in building business cases and measurable success metrics.
• Must be based in or able to work in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira and Agile workflows.
• Experience with product analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics or Power BI.
• Knowledge of product measurement frameworks and KPI interpretation.
