What you will do
- Design, build, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures and complex queries for investment performance calculations.
- Map and transform custodial and investment data into structured, analytics-ready data models.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across datasets containing millions to billions of records.
- Collaborate with application and UI engineers to ensure database outputs power effective reports and dashboards.
- Partner with onshore and offshore development teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization initiatives for new large enterprise client programs.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Proven background in SQL Server performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience building database logic specifically for analytics and reporting environments.
- Prior experience with investment performance reporting or analytics systems.
- Strong understanding of investment management concepts, including Equity, fixed income, benchmarks, and custodial data.
Nice to have
- Python experience.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding or testing.
- Professional background with asset managers, investment advisors, or custodians.
