What you will do

• Oversee mechanical installation of boilers, vessels, pumps, and heat exchangers from delivery to mechanical completion.
• Coordinate directly with the piping installation team to ensure correct sequencing, tie-ins, and connections.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors, monitoring resourcing, productivity, quality, and adherence to the project programme.
• Lead alignment, levelling, and setting-to-work of plant items in accordance with vendor requirements and specifications.
• Drive QA/QC and completions, including ITP sign-off, walk-downs, punch lists, and production of handover packs.
• Liaise with client engineering, vendors, design teams, and HSE officers to resolve technical and coordination issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Installation Superintendent or Construction Manager on large-scale new-build projects.
• Demonstrable experience coordinating piping installation scopes on multi-discipline sites.
• Strong track record of leading multiple mechanical contractors through to project completion.
• Solid background in QA/QC and completions, including ITPs and handover documentation.
• Recognized mechanical trade background with SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely, or CCSNG certification.
• Must be based on-site full-time in Carrington, UK

Nice to have

• Experience in Energy-from-Waste, Power, Hydrogen, or Petrochemical projects.
• Awareness and experience working under NEC 4 contracts and EPC arrangements.
