Freelance Asbestos Surveyor

Location: UK-based, with travel to client sites across the UK as required

What you will do

• Conduct asbestos surveys at client sites and safely sample suspect materials.
• Record survey findings accurately according to job instructions and internal procedures.
• Assess asbestos risks and recommend removal or safe management solutions.
• Provide advice supporting client legal, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal project teams on reporting and site-based issues.
• Support audits, corrective actions, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying, such as BOHS P402.
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• Accurate documentation skills, strong communication, and attention to detail.
• Computer skills, including survey software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
