Salary: $116,000 - $152,250 USD

What you will do

• Develop secure, stable, and maintainable code for the hirify.global Sportsbook application.
• Design and build performant software utilizing a broad range of design approaches and best practices.
• Own specific parts of the product and technology, providing subject matter expertise.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and delivery excellence reviews to evolve the team.
• Resolve the root cause of complex problems to improve system maintainability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to balance customer requirements with technical needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of Software Development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Must be based in or able to work from Atlanta, Georgia, United States (Hybrid).
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS).
• Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Claude or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like DataDog or Sentry.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling, preferably Jenkins or BuildKite.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and the Atlassian suite.
