What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs for frontend applications.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka and reactive programming with Spring WebFlux.
• Build reusable code and common libraries to standardize development.
• Collaborate with the backend team to improve software quality.
• Participate in and provide technical input during architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Experience with Java 17+, Microservices, Spring, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of working with databases and deployment procedures.
• Knowledge of web application security, specifically OAuth2.
• Ability to implement detailed specifications independently and suggest implementation solutions.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Must be based in Tallinn, Estonia; no visa sponsorship is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating 3rd party providers, such as payment or game providers.
