Salary: EUR 1850 - 3050 per month (gross)

What you will do

• Modernize and upgrade legacy PHP applications to the latest Laravel versions (11–13).
• Design and implement secure backend architectures following modern security standards.
• Refactor and optimize existing codebases to improve performance and maintainability.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within existing applications.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality SaaS solutions.
• Perform code reviews and enforce backend best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer.
• Deep expertise in the Laravel framework (preferably version 9+) and the Laravel 11–13 ecosystem.
• Proven track record in legacy system migration and modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of web security principles (OWASP, authentication, encryption).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• English: Intermediate+ (B1) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of high-load systems.
• Frontend awareness with Vue.js or React.
