What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services powering real-time, customer-facing systems.
• Develop and evolve AI-powered translation capabilities using LLMs in production.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to create seamless user experiences.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and shape the system architecture and future direction.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability of services running in modern cloud environments.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development workflows and code quality.

Requirements

• Solid experience designing and integrating quality microservices at scale within complex domains.
• Strong backend development skills in Python or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and observability tools (DataDog).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Strong technical leadership and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in Finland or Estonia.
