What you will do

• Lead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, establishing governance and managing budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved in line with customer expectations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, executive management, customers, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure technical solutions meet operational and production requirements.
• Manage project handover and closure, including technical/financial reviews and lessons learned documentation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Cape Town, South Africa
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• At least 6 years of professional Project Management experience.
• Formal Project Management training and certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and OfficeTimeline tools.
• Strong understanding of PRINCE II, PMBOK, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in the development, integration, and evaluation of complex systems within the aerospace or radar systems environment.
