What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for streaming, ingestion, and analytics platforms used across the organization.
• Drive engineering standards, architectural direction, and platform evolution across multiple teams.
• Improve the scalability, resilience, and operational maturity of real-time streaming and data platforms.
• Design and deliver scalable cloud-based services and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers at all levels to grow technical capability and modern software development practices.
• Collaborate with product and platform stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale distributed or event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with streaming and data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Spark.
• Experience building scalable cloud services within AWS using Java/Spring Boot or TypeScript.
• Proven ability to lead technical decision-making and influence engineering direction across teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time analytics or large-scale data ingestion platforms.
• Familiarity with observability, operational monitoring, CI/CD, and platform reliability practices.
• Experience with Airflow, Redshift, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Interest in contributing to the wider technology community and engineering standards.
