What you will do

• Own design and delivery of high-quality software solutions end-to-end across features, services, and systems
• Build and operate cloud-native serverless applications on AWS, optimizing for security, resilience, scalability, performance, and cost
• Apply clean code, architectural principles, and best practices aligned with SSDLC and technology strategy
• Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt for long-term maintainability and reliability
• Define test strategies focusing on security, accessibility, usability, resilience, and non-functional requirements
• Lead code reviews, drive process improvements, mentor engineers, and stay current with emerging technologies

Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern software engineering, clean code, architecture, design patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native design
• Proven experience with AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS), IaC (CloudFormation, serverless frameworks)
• Deep experience with MongoDB (schema design, performance, aggregation), SQL, and other NoSQL stores
• Experience with TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, containerisation, reliability, and operational excellence
• Security-first mindset with secure development, threat modelling, and cloud compliance
• Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban), problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
