What you will do

• Build and maintain reliable integrations between hirify.global's platform and third-party HRIS systems such as ADP and Workday.
• Design and develop new services leveraging a serverless, event-driven microservices architecture using AWS SAM/Lambda, EventBridge, and SNS.
• Own and enhance components of the public API platform, focusing on REST API design, OAuth implementation, and webhook management.
• Translate high-level product requirements and business needs into pragmatic workstreams, design specifications, and sprint stories.
• Collaborate closely with Product and User-Experience teams to understand and implement requirements.
• Champion engineering best practices and contribute to the evolution of the SDLC.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing SaaS enterprise software in distributed teams.
• Must be based in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
• Strong command of serverless architectures, specifically AWS SAM/Lambda.
• Deep practical experience designing and working with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
• Proven experience with microservices, bounded contexts, REST API design, and event-driven patterns (EventBridge, SNS).
• Proficiency in developing full-stack web applications using Typescript, React, and Node.js.

Nice to have

• Experience with third-party integrations with major HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, ADP).
• Familiarity with modern AI tools, such as Cursor.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience translating high-level requirements into technical plans and workstreams.
