What you will do

• Serve as the architectural conscience for early AI decisions, evaluating tooling like LangSmith and Databricks against production requirements.
• Collaborate with AI teams to design internal agentic patterns and prompt architectures suitable for customer-facing scale.
• Document trade-offs and establish evaluation criteria to prevent premature architectural lock-in.
• Define organization-wide engineering standards for model observability, tracing, prompt versioning, and cost governance.
• Create technical foundation documents outlining architectural positions and an assessment of system capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience making production AI architectural decisions, including LLM integration patterns and prompt management at scale.
• Experience building AI evaluation or observability frameworks in a production environment.
• Ability to influence technical direction through evidence and clarity without needing formal authority.
• Deep understanding of AI trustworthiness, explainability, and auditability, especially within regulated compliance contexts.
• Experience as a Staff Individual Contributor (IC) focusing on technical leadership and cross-team influence.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic systems in production, including orchestration patterns and memory management.
• Familiarity with AI ecosystems such as LangSmith, MLflow, or Databricks ML.
• Experience transitioning a scrappy AI integration into a well-engineered, reusable AI platform.
• Interest in the crypto ecosystem and blockchain security.
