Information Security Architect (cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Information Security Architect (cybersecurity): Implement and continuously improve information security controls with an accent on technical aspects such as security by design, zero trust, vulnerability management, and cloud security. Focus on defining and implementing security standards, managing security services, and contributing to the overall information security roadmap.

Hybrid: a few days a week at the office in Warsaw (Poland), Helsinki (Finland), or Madrid (Spain). Occasional travel.

Leading K12 European learning company operating in 12 countries, providing printed and digital learning content and platforms for primary, secondary, and vocational education.

What you will do

• Implement and manage various security services provided by the Group Security Team.
• Work with businesses and Group IT to define and implement technical security controls.
• Provide fit-for-purpose security recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Contribute to the information security roadmap to mature technical security services.
• Ensure regular reporting of information security metrics.

Requirements

• Excellent English (written and verbal).
• Bachelor's/master's degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
• Strong experience in information security, especially security by design, secure software development, zero trust, vulnerability management, and penetration tests.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in security aspects of cloud (AWS, Azure), networking, operating systems, databases.
• Experience guiding organizations on penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and threat intelligence.
