Mechanical Engineer (Climatetech)

What you will do

• Own the hardware development roadmap, translating R&D outputs into buildable systems for prototypes and pilots.
• Execute the full development cycle hands-on, including mechanical design, CAD, fabrication, and iterative testing.
• Plan, commission, and build the company's industrial pilot plant.
• Develop critical technical documentation, including P&IDs, test plans, and operations manuals.
• Ensure engineering rigor across the stack and maintain traceability through drawings and design docs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers while guiding junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of product development experience in a hardware company.
• Proven track record of taking at least one professional project from concept to field implementation.
• Proficiency in CAD and Design for Manufacturing (machining and 3D printing).
• Experience with hands-on assembly and testing.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Paris, France.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in DAC/CCUS, electrolyzers, or fuel cells.
• Knowledge of Python and MATLAB.
• Experience with P&ID and fluid/thermal systems.
• Cross-functional knowledge of electrical and power systems.
• Project management skills and knowledge of standards and compliance.
