Trainee Radio & Rigging Engineer

What you will do

• Prioritise health and safety: conduct on-site risk assessments, report near misses/incidents, comply with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
• Develop expertise in radio and rigging: handle installations and maintenance of 20CN/21CN/Microwave, Mobile 2/3/4/5G, and WiFi systems.
• Achieve mandatory certifications including Tower Climbing and Rescue, Emergency First Aid at Height.
• Design lifting/lowering plans, coordinate team activities, and supervise contractor work.
• Contribute to out-of-hours callouts (minimum 1 in 4 attendance if required).
• Support an inclusive environment aligned with company values.

Requirements

• Able to pass a working at height medical and maintain physical fitness: bend, stretch, kneel, crouch, climb towers/structures, lift heavy equipment, recognise coloured wiring.
• Extensive understanding of radio systems, rigging, and maintenance.
• Complete 24-month training pathway with assessments for assimilation as full Radio & Rigging Engineer.
• Comfortable challenging safety practices and complying with audits.
