TL;DR
Principal Economy Manager (Gamedev): Leading economic strategy and systems design across a portfolio of mobile games with an accent on sustainable monetization and player engagement. Focus on building complex predictive models, running simulations, and mentoring internal teams on economic frameworks.
Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Barcelona, Spain (at least 2 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Drive cross-studio economic strategy as a shared expert supporting multiple games across distinct studios.
- Design robust pricing and reward systems and diagnose overall economic health.
- Mentor game-level economy designers and PMs on advanced economic frameworks.
- Build complex predictive models and run simulations to validate design decisions and forecast feature impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing complex game economies at a senior or lead level.
- Mastery of Excel is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) mechanics and sustainable monetization.
- Experience in matrix leadership and cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments.
- English: Professional proficiency required for application and work
Nice to have
- Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for deep-dive research and modeling.
- Additional background in Monetization strategy.
- Experience with large-scale online, social, or multiplayer games.
