What you will do

• Create high-quality rigging and skinning for characters, creatures, and props suitable for the project's universe.
• Implement characters in Unreal Engine, including cloth, physics, and blueprint setups.
• Maintain and develop production and software pipelines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with modelers and animators to ensure a smooth development pipeline for high-quality assets.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engine pipeline tools and R&D case studies.
• Support the Lead in recruitment and the onboarding process for new hires.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical animation, tools, and pipeline development.
• Proven experience shipping at least one AAA title.
• Advanced expertise in Maya, specializing in rigging and skinning.
• Proficiency in Python for writing code and developing toolsets.
• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine art production pipelines and character/animation features.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in modeling and animation.
• Familiarity with Houdini and Blender.
