What you will do

• Act as the primary technical expert for DCC tools supporting rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art teams.
• Standardize and document toolsets across Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop.
• Develop and maintain Python-based tools and automation systems for content creation.
• Design and optimize asset export pipelines and cross-discipline workflows.
• Research and prototype new pipeline strategies to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Coordinate between technical and artistic stakeholders to align on standards and tool ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Art or Pipeline Engineering, ideally in the games industry.
• Expert-level Python programming skills and understanding of object-oriented design.
• Strong proficiency in Maya and at least one other major DCC tool (3DS Max, Substance Painter/Designer).
• Experience with production tracking systems integrated within DCC environments.
• Deep knowledge of artist workflows across rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art.
• Must be located in the United States.
