TL;DR

Engineering Manager (SaaS): Leading and managing engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality software for a recruitment platform with an accent on delivery improvement and technical foundations. Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany) — 3 days office, 2 days remote

Salary: €110,000 – €120,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Guide cross-functional and distributed teams to achieve results within tight deadlines.
  • Foster a culture of mentoring, innovation, and continuous skill development.
  • Set clear objectives aligned with organizational goals and conduct regular One-on-Ones.
  • Oversee project delivery with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive the hiring process to attract and integrate engineers from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Node.js, React, SQL, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Docker, gRPC, or Pub/Sub.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Berlin office (hybrid model: 3 days office, 2 remote).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
