What you will do

• Deliver innovative web experiences using emerging AI technologies to enhance customer discovery.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of customer and platform features using a full-stack approach.
• Develop and optimize backend APIs and webservers using Java and Scala.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineering partners to iterate on prototypes.
• Mentor the next generation of engineers and implement high operational standards within a 2-pizza team.
• Manage infrastructure using AWS and CDK.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (excluding internships).
• Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Experience contributing to the architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems.
• Must be based in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
• Experience with build processes and operational testing.
